Anchor handling and Towing Winch is mainly for anchoring and towing purpose . It is widely used in tug boat . The power source can be electric or hydraulic , the brake and clutch can be manual, hydraulic or pneumatic .The structure can be single drum or waterfall type , waterfall type is widely used on the tug boat , the lower drum is for positioning , the upper drum is for the towing . The speed is determined by the capacity , if capacity is big , the speed is slower . In general , the speed is usually from 3m/min to 10m/min , the rope capacity is from 500 meters to 1500 meters . It often comes with the spooling device . If the capacity is big , the hydraulic is prefer . The control method can be close control or remote control in wheelhouse . It has the emergency release function . Constant tension system , Tension display function or rope length display function can be as an option . The design standard can be CCS,BV,ABS,GL,RS,IRS etc .

The towing winch can be single drum , double drum or triple drum , the power can be electric-hydraulic , diesel hydraulic , we can design it as the working requirements . The towing winch is mainly used for towing and anchor handing of tugs , AHTS , or salvage ships etc .
